The Ektio Wraptor is a doctor invented/clinically tested basketball shoe is designed to prevent roll over of the ankle that leads to ankle sprains. No more need to wear tape or braces. An evolutionary designed carbon fiber shank is revealed at the arch of the foot. Double strap technology built into the wall of the shoe providing rock solid ankle support while not inhibiting any motions of the ankle needed to play at the highest level. Both the inner and outer straps work together to "marry" the foot to the shoe. One strap anchors the foot to the shoe and the second strap specifically supports the lateral ligaments of the ankle. During inversion of the shoe, the shoe and ankle move in opposite directions, causing stress on the ankle ligaments. Ektio strap technology helps to eradicate this problem. The side buckle is color-coded to easily identify where the straps are fastened. A neoprene booty within the shell of the shoe helps to keep the foot in place, wicks away moisture and provides cushion. It also provides a support structure for one of the inner straps. A heavy-duty webbed tab at the ankle assists pull on. Inner game technology includes a proprietary foam fabrication that assists the forefoot and heel with shock absorption.
